Bernardo Heynemann is a developer with more than 15 years of experience in technically challenging applications. Has a lot of expertise with highly scalable applications and with high availability.
Passionate about Agile and it’s Lean roots, Bernardo studies how other industries are solving their problems and the principles underneath it. Many times the principles are also valid in software development.
Very active in conferences, Bernardo tries to attend the major ones as much as possible. Bernardo has spoken at some conferences and is very interested in speaking about software development, agile or lean software development. Bernardo’s also a huge contributor of open-source software with major projects being Pyccuracy (BDD Web Testing in Python), Skink (Lightweight Continuous Integration), Ion (Python Web Framework), Thumbor (Imaging Service), pyVows (BDD Async Testing with Python).
You can also find a miriad of different goodies in his github page. Many different projects (mostly python) exist there, all of them open source software.
Bernardo currently works for Globo.com, the largest media company in Brazil and one of the largest in South America. Being an ex-Thoughtworker pays out when it comes to agile experience.
